25-10020-000 Laminar Flow/Air Balance Testing and Certification Services

Background
The Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero is seeking bids for Laminar Flow/Air Balance Testing and Certification Services. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with health standards and regulations, particularly those set forth by Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations, the Joint Commission, and the Department of Justice. The goal is to maintain high-quality medical care through proper air filtration systems in various hospital locations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, certifications, permits, insurance, personnel, and any other items necessary for Laminar Flow/Air Balance Testing and Certification Services. This includes testing and certifying air filtration systems in the Central Medical Services department, Housing Unit 1 Isolation Rooms, Urgent Care Room (UCR), Admission Suite Intake Room, and other mutually agreed locations within DSH on an as-needed basis. The services are intended to assist the Public Health Office of DSH in meeting clinical evaluation requirements.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term for the agreement is from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations within the Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit proof of their legal right to do business in California and certify that they meet all operational terms. They must also provide a Certificate of Accreditation from the National Sanitation Foundation for each technician performing services. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements as outlined in Attachment 12.
