Estimated cost for 36 months: $14,664.00 Current (previous) contractor: The Colores Painting Co., Inc. $200.00 per graffiti removal service Term: 8/1/2022 through 7/31/2025 Contract total: $32,000.00 In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions found herein. Your bid must be submitted via email (the DMV will not accept a mailed or hand-delivered bid).

The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids for graffiti removal services at the Daly City DMV field office. This contract aims to maintain the aesthetic and cleanliness of the DMV facilities, aligning with the agency's mission to provide quality service to the public. Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform graffiti removal services on an as-needed basis at the Daly City DMV field office located at 1500 Sullivan Ave., Daly City, CA 94015. Specific areas to be serviced include:
- All signs and sign poles
- Interior/exterior walls
- Building exterior and grounds
- Parking lot including wheel stops
- Fencing, gates, benches, light poles, flagpole
- Asphalt, sidewalks, curbs, doorways, entryways, alcoves, and exterior windows.

The contractor must respond to graffiti removal requests within forty-eight (48) hours and ensure that all surfaces are restored to like-new condition without any signs of graffiti remaining. If graffiti is on painted surfaces, it must be removed and repainted using water-based paint that meets DMV specifications. The contractor is also responsible for tracking service usage and reporting time spent on site.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of thirty-six (36) months starting from the proposed date of August 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed at the Daly City DMV field office located at 1500 Sullivan Ave., Daly City, CA 94015.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid C-33 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. All subcontractors must also have applicable licenses in good standing. Bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage laws if their bid exceeds $1,000.00 and must be registered as public works contractors if their bid exceeds $25,000.00. Additionally, bidders must not be targets of economic sanctions as per Executive Order N-6-22.
