25-048 Janitorial services at the Oxnard DMV Field Office Term: Thirty-six (36) months (see Schedule of Events for proposed start date of contract). See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. Estimated cost for 36 months: $145,692.00 Bidders are advised to check the Cal eProcure website for addendums, modifications, and updates to the bid documents. The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is not responsible for failure of the prospective bidder to check for any bid document updates, changes, or answers to questions posted on Cal eProcure. Failure to periodically check the website will be at the bidder's sole risk. In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions found herein. Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform after-hours janitorial services at the Oxnard DMV field office located at 4050 South Saviers Road, Oxnard, CA 93033. The services include:
1. General cleaning tasks such as disinfecting high-touch surfaces, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining floors (carpet and hard surfaces).
2. Specific tasks include vacuuming carpets, mopping floors with appropriate cleaners, emptying trash receptacles, restocking supplies, and maintaining a weekly maintenance log.
3. Daily tasks include cleaning and disinfecting surfaces like doorknobs, desks, sinks, and other frequently touched areas.
4. Additional responsibilities include performing quarterly and annual deep cleaning tasks such as carpet extraction and floor finishing.
5. The contractor is required to use DMV-approved cleaning products and follow specific guidelines for each type of surface being cleaned.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a term of thirty-six (36) months with a proposed start date of November 1, 2025.

All services will be performed at the Oxnard DMV Field Office located at 4050 South Saviers Road, Oxnard, CA 93033.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Government Code Section 19134 if utilizing employees for janitorial services. They must also adhere to Labor Code Sections 1060 - 1065 regarding displaced janitor opportunities and provide a California Department of Industrial Relations registration number with their bid.

Bidders are required to submit proof that they are not subject to Economic Sanctions as per Executive Order N-6-22.
