25-034 Mid-day Janitorial Services for the Fullerton DMV Field Office

Background
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking to procure mid-day janitorial services for the Fullerton DMV Field Office. This contract aims to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for both employees and visitors, aligning with the DMV's mission to provide quality service to the public. The contract will replace the current contractor, Premier Property Preservation, LLC, whose term ends on July 31, 2025.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform mid-day janitorial services at the Fullerton DMV Field Office located at 909 West Valencia Drive, Fullerton, CA 92832. Services include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, sinks, and restroom fixtures.
- Performing general cleaning tasks including emptying trash receptacles and restocking supplies.
- Maintaining a weekly maintenance log confirming scheduled cleaning tasks.
- Using appropriate cleaning products as provided by DMV or approved by the DMV Project Manager.
- Ensuring all assigned workers are properly identified and trained in safety protocols.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a term of thirty-six (36) months, commencing on August 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Fullerton DMV Field Office located at 909 West Valencia Drive, Fullerton, CA 92832.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified as a Small Business by the State of California's Department of General Services (DGS). They must comply with the Property Service Workers Protection Act and provide a California Department of Industrial Relations registration number with their bid. Additionally, bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to be eligible to submit a bid.
