The new estimated number of services is 36 for 36 months. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) has been replaced in its entirety. Please see the attached 25-020 IFB package. Estimated Cost for 36 months: $9,000.00 In submitting your bid, you must comply with the instructions found herein. Your bid must be submitted via email (the DMV will not accept a mailed or hand-delivered bid). Background
The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking bids for graffiti removal services at the Arleta DMV field office. This contract aims to maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of the DMV facilities by ensuring that all graffiti is promptly and effectively removed.

The contract is part of the DMV's ongoing commitment to providing a clean and welcoming environment for its customers.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform graffiti removal services on an as-needed basis at the Arleta DMV field office located at 14400 Van Nuys Blvd., Arleta, CA 91331. The scope of work includes:
1. Removing graffiti from various surfaces including:
- All signs and sign poles
- Interior/exterior walls
- Building exterior
- Parking lot, including wheel stops
- Fencing, gates, benches, light poles, flagpole
- Asphalt, sidewalks, curbs, doorways, entryways, alcoves, and exterior windows.
2. The contractor must respond to graffiti removal requests within 48 hours.
3. Graffiti removal must restore surfaces to like-new condition without any signs of remaining graffiti or shadowing.
4. If graffiti is on painted surfaces, the contractor must repaint using water-based paint with zero VOCs that matches existing colors.
5. Any damages caused during the removal process must be reported immediately and repaired at no cost if due to the contractor's actions.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 36 months starting from July 1, 2025.

All services will be performed at the Arleta DMV field office located at 14400 Van Nuys Blvd., Arleta, CA 91331.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid C-33 contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. All subcontractors must also have applicable licenses in good standing.

Bidders are required to comply with prevailing wage laws if their bid exceeds $1,000 and must be registered public works contractors with DIR if their bid exceeds $25,000.
