25-0023 IFB Parking Lot and Driveway Re-pour and Re-striping

Background
The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) is seeking a contractor to provide services for the re-paving and re-striping of the parking lot and driveway at the Meadowview campus.
This project is part of CDFA's ongoing efforts to maintain its facilities in compliance with safety and accessibility standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Re-pour and re-stripe asphalt in the parking lots and driveways at the CDFA Meadowview Campus, ensuring compliance with current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) codes.
2. Supply all necessary equipment and materials for project completion.
3. Perform work on weekends as agreed upon with the Project Coordinator.
4. Warrant all work for 3 years from completion date.
5. Submit a detailed work plan and schedule for approval by the Project Coordinator.
6. Clean surfaces prior to sealing, treat oil deposits, apply hot rubberized crack fill material to cracks ¼” or wider, and apply two coats of asphalt sealant over approximately 200,000 square feet of parking areas and driveways.
7. All painting must be done with two coats of traffic paint, restriping must follow existing lines, and concrete wheel stops must be removed and replaced as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract term is from July 1, 2025, or upon final approval by the Department of General Services/Office of Legal Services (DGS/OLS), whichever is later, through October 31, 2025.

The work will be performed at the CDFA Meadowview Campus located at:
1. 3290 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832 (Building A)
2. 3292 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832 (Building B)
3. 3288 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832 (Building C)
4. 3288 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832 (Building D)
5. 3294 Meadowview Road, Sacramento, CA 95832 (Building E).

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must hold a valid C-12 Earthwork and Paving Contractor’s license in California and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by California Labor Code regulations.
