24WS0547 Security Camera System Upgrade

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is seeking a contractor to upgrade the security camera system at the Veterans Home of California – West Los Angeles. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security infrastructure at the facility, ensuring safety and compliance with modern standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary products, equipment, tools, and labor for the Security Camera System Upgrade. This includes installation of new security cameras and integration with existing systems. All installations must meet applicable regulations and standards. The specific tasks are detailed in Exhibit A: Statement of Work, which outlines the scope of work required for successful completion.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the Agreement is one year, starting from June 1, 2025. There is an option for a one-year extension based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Home of California (VHC) – West Los Angeles, located at 11500 Nimitz Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90049.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be legally constituted to do business in California and registered with the Secretary of State. They must comply with DVBE participation requirements, including a minimum participation goal of 3%. Bidders must maintain valid Workers’ Compensation Insurance and Commercial General Liability Insurance policies with minimum coverage amounts specified. Additionally, bidders must complete various forms including Bidder Declarations and Contractor Certification Clauses.
