Background
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 24C461006 for the installation of ballistic glass and Kevlar panels at the CHP Los Banos Area Office.

The CHP's mission is to provide safety, service, and security to the public. This contract aims to enhance the safety features of their facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Ballistic Glass and Kevlar Panel Installation Services as detailed in Exhibit A entitled 'Scope of Work'.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2025, through May 31, 2026.

The work will be performed at the CHP Los Banos Area Office located at 706 West Pacheco Blvd., Los Banos, CA 93635.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet several requirements including:
- A valid Contractor State License Board (CSLB) General B license;
- Registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR);
- Certification as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) with a minimum participation requirement of 5%;
- Proof of liability insurance;
- Compliance with all terms outlined in the IFB.

Additionally, bidders must complete and submit a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Reporting and Factsheet (STD 1000).
