Description

Parking lot seal and stripe services at the Glendale DMV Field Office. Term: Ten (10) calendar days (see Schedule of Events for proposed start date of contract). See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. Estimated Budget: $45,000.00 The minimum percentage of DVBE participation for this solicitation is 3% if the bidder s total bid amount is $10,000.00 or greater.
Background
The California State Transportation Agency, under the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for parking lot seal and stripe services at the Glendale DMV Field Office.

The goal of this contract is to maintain and enhance the safety and usability of the parking facilities, ensuring compliance with state regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform the following services:
1. Clean existing asphalt surfaces and complete minor asphalt repairs.
2. Fill cracks over 1/4" wide with pre-approved rubberized crack filler.
3. Apply two or more coats of asphalt seal covering on all asphalt surfaces.
4. Replace and reinstall broken concrete wheel stops; realign and pre-drill loose wheel stops.
5. Repaint existing painted curbs, arrows, symbols, and re-stripe all existing spaces and lines according to specifications.
6. Remove and replace twelve truncated domes.

The work will be performed at 1335 W Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA 91201, within a ten-day period starting from the specified start date provided by the DMV Project Manager.

Period of Performance
The contract term is ten (10) calendar days from the specified start date provided by the DMV Project Manager.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Glendale DMV Field Office located at 1335 W Glenoaks Blvd., Glendale, CA 91201.
