Background
The Department of General Services, Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the State of California is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Overhead Door Maintenance and Repair services. The contract aims to provide annual preventative maintenance and repair services for thirteen commercial roll-up and overhead doors located in four state buildings in Sacramento, California. The goal is to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of these doors as part of the state's facilities management responsibilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:

1. Annual Preventive Maintenance for 13 commercial roll-up and overhead doors, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and minor repairs.
2. Emergency repair services within two hours of notification from FMD.
3. Non-emergency repairs as needed, with a response time within one business day.
4. Replacement of worn or inoperable parts with new factory-manufactured components.
5. Compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations during service execution.

Period of Performance
The anticipated term of the contract is three (3) years from the date of execution.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at four locations in Sacramento, California:

1. Library & Courts Building (#003), 914 Capitol Mall
2. Legislative Office Building (#004), 1020 N Street
3. Secretary of State Building (#036), 1500 11th Street
4. California State Library Building (#038), 900 N Street

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet specific requirements including:

1. A valid Class D-28 license issued by the California Contractors State License Board.
2. Proof of insurance covering General Liability, Commercial Automobile Insurance, and Worker’s Compensation.
3. Submission of three references demonstrating satisfactory job performance on similar projects within the last five years.
4. Compliance with Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goals set at a minimum of 3%.
