Description

Swing Stage Inspection, Certification and Repair Services for Ronald Reagan Building, Los Angeles, Ca
Background
The Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the State of California is responsible for managing, maintaining, and operating state buildings and grounds statewide. This contract aims to procure services for Swing Stage Inspection and Repairs at the Ronald Reagan Building located in Los Angeles, CA. The goal is to ensure the safety and operational integrity of swing stage equipment used in maintenance activities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for Swing Stage Inspection and Repair services. Specific services include:

- Annual Inspections
- Pre-Use Inspections
- Repairs

The contractor must inspect all permanently installed wire ropes, assess davits and structural components for damage, examine electrical controls, perform brake testing, and document all inspections with a written report. The services will be performed at the Ronald Reagan Building located at 300 S Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013.

Bidders must possess a Class C-61 Limited Specialty Classification D-39 Scaffolding Contractor’s license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs. They must also have a Cal-OSHA approved Scaffold Inspection and Testing (SIT) license. Bidders are required to submit proof of insurance covering General Liability, Commercial Automobile Insurance, Worker’s Compensation, and Errors and Omissions/Professional Liability. Additionally, bidders must provide three references demonstrating satisfactory job performance on similar projects within the last five years.
