Description

This is a small business solicitation. The awarded contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform confidential paper document container (bin) rental, on-site confidential and recyclable paper document destruction, and paper recycling services at various DMV Investigations Offices for the term of this Agreement. Bidder Qualifications A. Bidder must be certified by the State of California, Department of General Services (DGS), Office of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Enterprise Services (OSDS) as a Certified Small Business. B. Bidder must have an adequate number of vehicles for mobile document destruction in their fleet to service the indicated offices at the requested frequencies and shall provide proof of registration of vehicles with their bid. Failure to provide proof of vehicle registration may result in bids being deemed non-responsive. The required number vehicles are dependent on the number of offices to be serviced under the agreement (See Exhibit F of this IFB). For 1 to 10 offices, the bidder must minimally have 2 vehicles. Background
This is a small business solicitation. The awarded contractor agrees to provide the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to perform confidential paper document container (bin) rental, on-site confidential and recyclable paper document destruction, and paper recycling services at various DMV Investigations Offices for the term of this Agreement.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide rental of the number of bins identified in Exhibit G, with a paper capacity of no less than two hundred (200) pounds each. The services shall be performed at the locations identified in Exhibit F. The Contractor shall ensure all vehicles for mobile document destruction receive regularly scheduled maintenance and are kept in operable condition at all times to ensure uninterrupted services.
On-site confidential and recyclable paper document destruction, and paper recycling services shall be performed in a competent, safe, and professional manner by properly trained workers. The Contractor shall provide an enclosed vehicle with industrial shredder that has its own power source and weigh scale, and that is able to provide full service regardless of weather conditions.

Period of Performance
The term of this Agreement is Thirty-six (36) months.

The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed are various DMV Investigations Offices as identified in Exhibit F.
