24-09003-000 Invitation for Bid (IFB) for General Clinical Laboratory Services Addendum 2

Background
The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) is seeking bids for a contractor to perform Employee Medical Examination Services. The solicitation includes instructions for bidders to comply with the terms and conditions stated in the solicitation and any resulting agreement. It also includes information on Governor Gavin Newsom's Executive Order N-6-22 regarding Economic Sanctions against Russia and Russian entities and individuals, and the requirement for bidders to ensure they are not a target of Economic Sanctions.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide General Clinical Laboratory Services for DSH by performing clinical laboratory tests specified in the IFB at Contractor’s reference laboratory. This includes providing courier service for storing and transporting clinical specimens from DSH to the Contractor’s reference laboratory.

The contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027. The services will be provided on an as-needed basis, and DSH reserves the right to award multiple agreements for backup purposes.

Period of Performance
The contract term is anticipated to be from July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Department of State Hospitals locations as needed.
