23BS0001-Fire Alarm Maintenance

Background
The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) is inviting bids for Fire Alarm and Kitchen Hood Maintenance Service. The contractor will be required to pay prevailing wage under the terms of this Agreement. The IFB package includes various documents that bidders must include in their final bid submission.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing fire alarm maintenance services at the Veterans Home of California - Barstow, including preventive maintenance, full maintenance, inspections, testing, cleaning, and incidental repair of all equipment associated with the Fire Alarm System.
The contractor must possess a valid Type C-10 Electrical Contractor License and/or Type C-16 Fire Protection Contractor License issued by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB).
The contractor must also provide technicians trained in Honeywell Fire Alarm systems or with a minimum of three years of experience working with fire alarm systems.

Period of Performance
The term start date is July 1, 2023, or upon approval, and the term end date of the agreement is May 30, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Veterans Home of California - Barstow, located at 100 East Veterans Parkway, Barstow, CA 92311.
