Background
The City of Los Angeles (City) Information Technology Agency (ITA) is seeking firms to provide information technology professionals on an as-needed basis. The goal of this contract is to secure high-quality contract staff for temporary situations that do not justify permanent staffing or for unique skill sets required in various aspects of Information Technology.
Contracts will be awarded for a term of five years, with an option for a two-year extension at the City’s discretion.
Work Details
The selected firms will provide IT professionals to assist the City in various capacities, including but not limited to:
1. Temporary staffing solutions for projects that require immediate support without the need for permanent hires.
2. Specialized IT skills that are not available within the existing workforce.
The services may include project management, software development, systems analysis, network administration, and other IT-related functions as required by the City.
Period of Performance
The contract will be effective for five years from the date of award, with an option to extend for an additional two years at the City's discretion.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the City of Los Angeles or as directed by the Information Technology Agency.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Los Angeles City Charter Section 470(C)(12), which includes submitting a completed CEC Form 55 with their proposal. This form requires disclosure of campaign contributions and prohibits certain political contributions during the bidding process. Bidders must also ensure they have all necessary licenses and registrations to operate within the City.
