Background
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for Roll Up Doors Maintenance and Repair Services. The purpose of this contract is to ensure that roll-up doors at CAL FIRE Santa Clara Unit (SCU) facilities remain safe, functional, and reliable for daily operations. The contractor will provide necessary services to maintain and repair these doors, which are critical for the agency's operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, repairs, maintenance, and fees necessary to deliver roll-up door maintenance and repair services. This includes ensuring that the roll-up doors at CAL FIRE SCU facilities are maintained in a safe and operational condition.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be performed over a specified duration as outlined in the bid submission timeline. Key dates include a mandatory pre-bid site inspection on June 8, 2026, with bids due by June 17, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at CAL FIRE facilities located in Santa Clara County.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be licensed to operate in California with a valid C61/D28 or C28 license from the California State Licensing Board. They must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). A Bidder’s Bond is required if the bid price exceeds $461,000. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to meet a three percent (3%) Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal and a twenty-five percent (25%) Small Business participation goal.
