127234 Buildings C-5-3 & 901 Roof Cricket Repairs, Camp San Luis Obispo

Background
The California Military Department is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 127234 for the purpose of performing roof cricket repairs at Buildings C-5-3 and 901 located at Camp San Luis Obispo.

The mission of the California Military Department includes maintaining and ensuring the readiness of military facilities. This contract aims to address necessary repairs to protect these structures.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to demolish existing roof crickets, repair substrates as needed, and install new 60 mil TPO roofing at designated buildings.

The work must comply with all project requirements and constraints outlined in the IFB. The contractor is required to complete the work within 180 calendar days from the start date.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days from the commencement date.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Camp San Luis Obispo, located at 10 Sonoma Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405.

Bidder Requirements
Prospective bidders must possess a valid B - General Building Contractor or C-39 - Roofing Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board (CSLB).

Additionally, bidders must comply with the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Participation Program with a goal of 5% participation. Bidders are encouraged to subcontract at least 25% of their net bid price to certified Small Businesses (SB) or Micro Businesses (MB). All bidders must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and submit a bid bond if their bid exceeds $24,999.99.
