Description

Alameda Municipal Power (AMP), a department of the City of Alameda (City), is the City's municipal electric utility serving residents and businesses. AMP is in need of Solid Dielectric Pad Mounted Switchgear. See Line Items for the types we need. The Specifications contain the full description of the requirements, particularly 3-way since 3-way switchgear specification is new (we are procuring 1-600A TAP not 200A).
It is the vendor's responsibility to have their responses entered into the PlanetBids system before the appointed due date and time. Email submittals shall not be accepted.

Other Details
Line 1 & 2 - Quote based on the net delivered price per type (Free on board or FOB Alameda CA) with all handling & transportation charges prepaid and include all local, state, and federal taxes but do not include sales tax. As for Line 2 switchgear, this is NOT the same type from the RFQ earlier posted on May 30, 2025. This time is also 3-way but for 200amp.

Line 3 - Sales tax of 10.75% of total tax amount.

Per Specifications, 24 weeks lead time is required. However, we accept offers with longer lead time if reasonable. Please indicate ARO lead time in the Detail tab under Delivery Method/Time. Or submit in a part of Exceptions.

Bid must be valid at least until end of September 2025.
