Caltrans is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms for the A&E On-call Roadway Construction Services - Material Testing at the Caltrans Southern Regional Laboratory in District 8.

The contract aims to support Caltrans in the construction of proposed transportation facilities across several districts. The estimated contract value ranges from $5,200,000 to $8,450,000, with a required 23% Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal.

Work Details
The Consultant will perform professional and technical services for Roadway Construction Services on an 'as-needed' basis. Specific tasks will be assigned through Task Orders issued by the Caltrans Contract Manager.

The work includes materials testing services and may involve projects improving the State transportation system in San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, and Ventura counties. The Consultant must provide all necessary personnel, materials, transportation, lodging, instrumentation, and specialized equipment to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

The scope includes tasks such as roadway rehabilitation, widening or realignment of existing facilities, relocation of existing facilities, and construction of new facilities. A significant portion of the work (>60%) is expected to be completed at Caltrans facilities.

Period of Performance
The estimated contract term is three years. Task Orders will specify individual project timelines.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles, and Ventura in California within Districts 7, 8, 9, and 12.
