Background
The City of Prescott, Arizona, is seeking qualified firms to provide engineering design and rehabilitation services for the outlet valve and related features at Willow Creek Dam. This project aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of water operations, ensuring compliance with resource requirements, customer commitments, and emergency action plans. The improvements are critical for the long-term functionality and safety of municipal infrastructure.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Replacement or upsizing of the existing 12-inch outlet and valve.
- Addition of an outlet slide gate at the inlet on the water side for controlled discharge.
- Repair of spalling on the concrete top cap.
- Mitigation measures for increased flows at the East Calvary Drive downstream water crossing due to upsizing.
- Stabilization of roadway for future operations and maintenance.

The project milestones include advertising the request for qualifications in March 2026, awarding the design contract in June 2026, completing various design phases by January 2027, beginning construction in April 2027, and completing construction by August 2027.

The contract will be performed over a period starting from June 2026 with an anticipated completion date for construction in August 2027.

Additionally, firms must be bondable to the projected amount of the project from an AM Best rating of 'A' or better surety company.
