Trench Safety Equipment Rental Services

Background
The City of Phoenix, through its Water Services Department, is seeking sealed offers for trench safety equipment rental services. This contract aims to provide necessary equipment for work sites located within the City of Phoenix and the greater Maricopa County area.

The contract is intended to commence on or about April 1, 2025, and will span a duration of seven years.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing rental services for various trench safety equipment as specified in the contract. Key requirements include:
- Delivery and pick-up of rented equipment to any Water Services Department location as directed by City representatives.
- Equipment rental must be available for a minimum of one full day.
- Delivery of requested items must occur within 24 hours of a verbal order from an authorized City representative.
- In emergency situations, delivery must occur within two hours upon request.
- Rental pricing must include all costs associated with delivery and pick-up, with specific items requiring placement by the contractor to have those costs included in the rental rate.
- The contractor must maintain all equipment in good working condition and provide documentation such as Manufacturer's Tabulated Data Sheets with each delivery.
- An open order report detailing all rented equipment must be provided monthly or upon request.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or about April 1, 2025, and will last for seven years.

Place of Performance
Services will primarily be performed within the corporate limits of the City of Phoenix, with some services extending to locations within Maricopa County.
