Background
The Arizona Office of Tourism (AOT) was established in 1975 as an agency of the State of Arizona, functioning as a destination marketing organization. AOT's mission is to strengthen and expand Arizona’s economy through travel and tourism promotion. This solicitation seeks to engage qualified firms for Media Relations, Travel Trade, and Consumer Marketing Services specifically targeting Mexico, with the goal of increasing visitation and spending in Arizona.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive marketing and media relations services including:

1. **Media Relations**: Develop annual media relations plans, editorial calendars, and fulfill requests for information from consumers and media. Conduct proactive outreach to generate new media leads and manage a clipping service for coverage related to Arizona.

2. **Travel Trade Marketing**: Create an annual marketing plan detailing objectives, tactics, budget, and identify key tour operators selling Arizona products. Conduct destination training sessions for travel agents and operators in Mexico.

3. **Press Trips**: Organize individual press trips for journalists and influencers, ensuring all arrangements are made including itineraries, transportation, and accommodations.

4. **Social Media Management**: Localize AOT’s social media content for Mexican audiences across platforms like Facebook and Instagram.

5. **Reporting**: Provide monthly reports detailing fulfillment inquiries, generated leads, media coverage metrics, social media engagement statistics, and other relevant data.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a fiscal year cycle from July 1 to June 30 each year, with specific deliverables due within 30 days of contract award.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed primarily in Mexico with some activities requiring travel to Arizona.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have an established office in Mexico with staff fluent in both Spanish and English. The dedicated account manager must have at least two years of relevant experience in destination marketing.
