Town Wide Arc Flash Phase I (A/E)

Background
The Town of Gilbert, Arizona is seeking professional consulting services for the Town Wide Arc Flash Phase I project. The purpose of this project is to conduct an arc flash hazard analysis in accordance with NFPA 70E standards and to update personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and equipment labeling at various water and wastewater facilities throughout the town.

The previous analysis was completed in June 2014 and covered limited facilities. The goal is to assist the Town in developing standardized software recommendations for future analyses every five years.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Review of the existing electrical system across various water and wastewater facilities.
2. Completion of an updated arc flash hazard analysis.
3. Relabeling of sites based on the results of the updated analysis.
4. Development of standardized software recommendations for future arc flash hazard analyses, which may be utilized every five years.
5. The project will utilize the Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) Version 12.5.0 for conducting the analysis.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by March 20, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at various water and wastewater facilities throughout the Town of Gilbert, Arizona.
