Background
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking to establish a term contract for a wide range of electric/electrical components to support the maintenance and construction of traffic signals, roadway lighting, and intelligent transportation systems statewide.
The estimated dollar volume for products purchased under this contract is approximately $2.3 million annually, based on historical usage data and anticipated volumes.
The main users of this contract will be the Department’s Transportation Technology Group, District Maintenance offices, and the Central District warehouse.
Work Details
The contractor will provide a selection of electrical/electronic components at a discount to ADOT. These components include but are not limited to:
- **Category A**: Nema Type IV TS2-Type I options, Nema Type V TS2-Type I options, various cabinets (UPS Cabinet, DMS Cabinets), CCTV/Pole Mounts, Transformers, Load Centers.
- **Category B**: Load switches, Flash Transfer Relay, Power Supply, Signal Bus Relay.
- **Category C**: NEMA and Caltrans MMU and CMU.
- **Category D**: Conduit, wire nuts, connectors, circuit breakers.
- **Category E**: Pull boxes and in-ground boxes.
- **Category F**: Specialized tools and connectors.
- **Category G**: Street lighting fixtures including lamps and ballasts.
- **Category H**: Steel and aluminum poles with anchor bolt assemblies.
- **Category I**: Traffic signal fixtures including pedestrian push buttons.
- **Category J**: Various types of wire including fiber optic cable.
- **Category K & L**: Other solar ITS components and vehicle detection systems.
All items must meet or exceed standards set by AASHTO, ASTM, AWS, ITE, FCC, ANSI, MUTCD among others.
Period of Performance
The contract term will commence on the effective day of award and continue for twelve months (12), with potential extensions for up to forty-eight (48) months through mutual written agreement.
Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to various locations designated by the Arizona Department of Transportation across the state.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with all applicable safety standards including OSHA regulations. They must also provide evidence of compliance with federal immigration laws.
