Request for Proposals for Point of Sale and eCommerce Solution

Background
The Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR), on behalf of the University of Arizona, is soliciting proposals for a native Point of Sale (POS) and eCommerce solution.

The University operates a retail environment serving over 45,000 students, faculty, and staff across multiple locations. The current systems are being phased out by Oracle in 2027, necessitating a new integrated solution that supports both in-store and online transactions.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide a single platform that includes native POS and eCommerce functionality, supported by supplier-hosted website infrastructure.

Key features required include:
- Integrated product catalog
- Inventory management
- Order management across POS and eCommerce channels
- API integration with Oracle NetSuite ERP for data exchange
- Real-time inventory synchronization with NetSuite
- Offline operation capabilities
- Compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS)
- Integration with RF-Smart.

The solution must be Software as a Service (SaaS) and accessible to all departments at the University of Arizona as well as other state universities and educational institutions.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will continue until the successful implementation of the solution or until the systems are fully operational post-transition from the current systems.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of Arizona campuses in Tucson and potentially other locations where the University operates.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate their capability to meet all technical requirements outlined in the RFP. They must also comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding licensing and permits. Additionally, vendors should not engage in any boycott against goods or services from Israel or use forced labor from ethnic Uyghurs in China.
