Background
The Town of Queen Creek is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to furnish illuminated street name signs and provide associated installation and maintenance services on an as-needed basis. The goal of this solicitation is to establish a term contract with contractor(s) capable of providing durable, compliant signage and related services throughout the Town. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for the supply of illuminated street name sign assemblies, installation, repair, replacement, and ongoing maintenance services as requested by the Town.
Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services and equipment:
- Illuminated Street Name Sign (ISNS) Replacement: Replace existing 12” wide ISNS Cabinet assembly with new 4” wide L.E.D. backlit ISNS cabinet assembly.
- Inspection and Reporting of Illuminated Street Name Sign Conditions: Conduct field inspections to assess overall condition and operational status, including verification of illumination functionality, evaluation of sign legibility, assessment of physical condition, and identification of safety hazards.
- Fabricate new sign faces per Town standards and install them into existing sign cabinets mounted to traffic signal poles.
- Provide a ten-year warranty on the sign cabinet & supporting structure, seven-year warranty on sign faces against fading or cracking, and five-year warranty on LED drivers/power supplies.
Period of Performance
The work will be performed throughout the Town of Queen Creek on an on-call, as-needed basis. The contractor must commence work within fourteen days after receiving notice to proceed/purchase order.

The geographic location for performance is within the Town of Queen Creek limits.
Bidder Requirements
Contractor(s) must demonstrate experience with illuminated roadway signage and electrical systems. They must hold a C-38 Signs License by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, contractors must certify compliance with A.R.S. § 41-4401 regarding legal worker certification.
