Engineering Service: Front Street - Virgin Acres County Improvement District of Mohave County, Arizona

Background
The County of Mohave, through its Public Works - Engineering Division, is seeking Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional Civil Engineering services for the Engineering Service: Front Street - Virgin Acres County Improvement District project. The goal is to contract with an Engineering Firm to serve as District Engineer and provide necessary services for roadway improvements within the District, which has been formed and approved by the Board of Supervisors.

Work Details
The selected Engineering Firm will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: conducting surveys, preparing drainage reports, and developing engineering plans and specifications for the construction of a two-lane non-curb roadway that meets Mohave County standards.

The project will cover approximately 2,350 feet of roadway from N. Alamo Ave to N. Virgin Acres Blvd in the Beaver Dam, Littlefield area. The work includes obtaining right-of-way from property owners, either through consent or eminent domain processes. The road structure may involve stabilized aggregate base course or asphalt millings capped with double chip seal surface treatment. Additionally, the firm will manage bond issuance for project expenses and provide comprehensive project management throughout design, construction, and administration phases.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all services are completed satisfactorily as per the contract terms.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in the Virgin Acres County Improvement District area within Mohave County, Arizona.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must demonstrate qualifications and experience related to civil engineering services. They must also provide information on their proposed staff's qualifications, including applicable licenses and certifications. The Consultant must have a current Arizona Certificate of Registration for professional design services and ensure that all key personnel assigned to the project remain available throughout its duration.
