Construction Manager at Risk (CM@Risk) Services for Facility Expansion and Repurposing - Saguaro Elementary and Casa Grande Middle School

Background
The Casa Grande Elementary School District No. 4 is seeking to establish a contract for Construction Manager-At-Risk (CM@Risk) services aimed at expanding and repurposing facilities at Saguaro Elementary and Casa Grande Middle School. The goal of this contract is to create approximately 12,000 square feet of new or repurposed educational space to support various programs including Band, STEM, Dance/Yoga/Color Guard, and Health.

The total budget for this project is estimated at $6.4 million, contingent upon available funds.

Work Details
The contractor will provide CM@Risk services that include:
- Creating new spaces and repurposing existing ones within the secured perimeters of Saguaro Elementary and Casa Grande Middle School.
- Supporting current programs in the Auditorium building and developing learning spaces for future programs.
- Addressing additional facility needs if funds allow, which may include improvements to outdoor ball fields, courtyard enhancements, and optimization or expansion of support and office spaces.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and continue until the completion of the project, with specific timelines to be established in coordination with the awarded contractor.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed on-site at Saguaro Elementary (K-5) and Casa Grande Middle School (6-8), located within the Casa Grande Elementary School District.
