Collection, Processing, Recycling, And Transport Of Waste Materials

Background
Arizona State University (ASU), governed by the Arizona Board of Regents, is seeking proposals for a contract to manage the collection, processing, recycling, and transport of waste materials generated at its facilities.
The goal of this contract is to establish an effective waste management system that includes landfill disposal, composting, and recycling services to support ASU's sustainability initiatives.

Work Details
The awarded contractor will be responsible for:
1. Collection and hauling of various waste streams including municipal solid waste, commingled recycling, yard waste, food waste, wood waste, scrap metal, and inert materials.
2. Processing of these materials at appropriate facilities.
3. Providing additional roll-off containers during peak periods such as student move-in/move-out times.
4. Implementing compactor monitoring with automated service scheduling for all compactors used during the contract period.
5. Meeting seasonal demands by providing up to 20 additional roll-offs serviced up to five times per day during peak periods.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on March 14, 2025, with a proposal opening at 2:00 PM MST and will close on April 10, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at Arizona State University locations in Tempe, AZ.
