Bus Stop and Transit Center Cleaning Services

Background
The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department is seeking proposals for cleaning and maintenance services for bus stops and transit facilities. The primary objective is to ensure cleanliness at approximately 993 bus stop locations without furniture and 3,089 with various types of furniture, including benches and trash receptacles. Over the next five years, the City plans to install an estimated 400 additional furniture units. The contract aims to enhance transit utilization and operational efficiency while positively impacting surrounding communities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide cleaning and maintenance services for bus stops and transit facilities, which include:

1. Cleaning of approximately 993 bus stop locations without furniture and 3,089 with various types of furniture.
2. Maintenance of 15 transit facilities consisting of 6 transit centers, 8 park-and-rides, and a downtown office building.
3. Monthly status meetings with the City to discuss progress and concerns.
4. A designated Superintendent as a single point of contact for coordination with the City.
5. Field supervision during scheduled maintenance by qualified personnel.
6. Reporting any safety issues or repairs needed immediately to the City.
7. Communication via cell phone and email, including sending reports with attached photos as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on or about January 1, 2024, for a duration of five years.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Phoenix, specifically at bus stops and transit facilities.
