Annual Preventative Maintenance Services for Electric Motor Irrigation Stations

Background
The Town of Gilbert, Arizona is seeking qualified Proposers for ongoing preventive maintenance services and repairs for its irrigation pump stations. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and maximize the Town's investment in these systems.

The Town has ten irrigation pump stations, nine located in parks and one at the Municipal Center, with most being six years old or younger. The goal is to maintain infrastructure effectively and streamline service delivery.

Work Details
The contract includes preventive maintenance (P.M.) services and repairs for commercial irrigation pump stations. Services include: checking in with staff about equipment issues, operating and observing the system, inspecting components for wear and corrosion, changing motor oil, lubricating pumps and motors, testing pump motor windings, taking vibration readings on motors and pumps, testing pump performance under various flow conditions, checking system pressure, inspecting electrical components for proper operation, cleaning valves (manual isolation, check valves, relief valves), flushing hydraulic lines, and inspecting wye strainers.

Deliverables include a written report detailing service results and recommendations as well as a walkthrough of completed repairs.

Period of Performance
The initial Agreement term will commence upon execution of the Agreement and continue through June 30, 2026. The Agreement may be renewed for up to four additional one-year terms.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations within the Town of Gilbert, Arizona including Freestone District Park, McQueen District Park, Crossroads District Park, Discovery District Park, Desert Sky District Park, Cosmo Dog Park, Gilbert Regional Park, Cactus Yards, Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch, and Municipal Building One.
