Allison Transmission - Rebuild, Repair, and Exchanges

Background
The City of Tempe is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract for the exchange, overhaul, rebuilding, and repair of Allison Transmissions and related components for City fleet vehicles.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and reliability of the City's fleet through professional maintenance services.

Work Details
The services under this contract will include:
- Exchange and rebuilding of Allison transmissions;
- Pickup and delivery of City vehicles to and from the Contractor’s facility;
- Diagnostic, repair, and overhaul services for transmissions and related components;
- Establishment of firm shop labor rates and applicable pricing for parts, repairs, and related work.

Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract shall be two (2) years with three (3) one-year renewal options.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the Contractor's facility as well as at locations where City fleet vehicles are located.
