Tree Removal and Trimming Services

Background
The City of Little Rock, the capital and largest city in Arkansas, is seeking qualified vendors to provide Tree Removal and Trimming Services through this Invitation to Bid (ITB). The city's mission is to ensure a safe, secure, and prosperous environment for its residents. This solicitation aims to engage vendors who can effectively manage tree-related issues within the community.

Work Details
The contract includes two categories of tree removal services: standard tree removal and emergency tree removal.

Standard tree removal applies to trees that are easily accessible without additional hazards, while emergency tree removal is for urgent situations requiring immediate action. Vendors must provide pricing for various services including:
1. Standard Tree Removal – 18” diameter or less
2. Standard Tree Removal – greater than 18” diameter
3. Emergency Tree Removal – 18” diameter or less
4. Emergency Tree Removal – greater than 18” diameter
5. Additional hourly fee for unforeseen complications during removal
6. Tree trimming services.

Vendors are responsible for removing all debris and ensuring no obstruction remains post-service. They must also provide traffic control as necessary and take precautions to prevent damage to surrounding properties.

Period of Performance
The contract will be awarded for one year, with the possibility of extending it for up to two additional one-year terms upon mutual agreement between the City and the vendor.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Little Rock, Arkansas.
