Spring Street Sewer Improvements (rebid)

Background
The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas is issuing an Invitation to Bid for the Spring Street Sewer Improvements project, identified as Project No. 2022002. The project aims to enhance the sanitary sewer collection system within the city and the adjacent National Park.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of a sanitary sewer main and includes the following specifications:

- Approximately 2,600 linear feet of 18-inch PVC sewer pipe
- 3,500 linear feet of 15-inch PVC sewer pipe
- 2,200 linear feet of HDPE pipe burst (10 and 12-inch to 16-inch)
- 900 linear feet of 16-inch HDPE carrier sewer pipe
- 300 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sewer pipe
- 60 linear feet of HDPE pipe burst (8-inch to 8-inch)
- 70 linear feet of Steel Encasement for an aerial creek crossing (20-inch)
- 105 linear feet of Steel Encasement for Bridge Hanging (20-inch)
- 500 linear feet of Steel Encasement Pipe via jack and bore (24-inch)

Additionally, the project includes the installation of twenty-four (24) manholes with a diameter of five feet and twenty (20) manholes with a diameter of four feet.

Period of Performance
The bids are due by May 12, 2025, at which point they will be publicly opened. The specific duration for the completion of work will be determined post-bid acceptance.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed within the City of Hot Springs and the adjacent National Park in Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a valid Arkansas license as required by state law for commercial contractors. Bids must include security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Participation from small, minority, and woman-owned business enterprises is encouraged.
