Background
The Arkansas Transit Association (ATA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit trade association established in 1980 to provide technical assistance and training for Arkansas’s public transit systems.

The organization seeks a qualified executive search firm to assist in recruiting an Executive Director who will provide strategic leadership and manage various ATA programs.
Work Details
The selected executive search firm will provide comprehensive services for the recruitment and selection of an Executive Director. Services include:
1. Search Strategy Development: Meet with the ATA Board to understand priorities, develop position profiles, and establish recruitment strategies.
2. National Candidate Recruitment: Conduct a proactive national search, identify qualified candidates, utilize professional networks, and promote the position through targeted channels.
3. Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review applicant materials, conduct initial interviews, evaluate qualifications, and verify references.
4. Candidate Presentation: Provide the board with potential candidates' summaries and evaluation reports.
5. Interview Coordination: Assist in scheduling interviews and provide evaluation tools for the Board.
6. Background Checks: Conduct background verification for finalists.
7. Compensation Benchmarking: Provide analysis for comparable executive roles to assist in establishing a competitive compensation package.
8. Offer Support: Assist with final candidate selection and negotiations.
Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last until the successful placement of the Executive Director.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the Arkansas Transit Association's offices located in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Respondents must demonstrate qualifications through their experience conducting similar executive searches, provide references from recent placements, and submit a detailed fee proposal that may include a fixed-fee structure.
