Background
The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is issuing a contract for the renovation of the 5th and 6th floors of their Central Office located at 10324 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas. The goal of this project is to modernize and improve the office space to better serve the agency's mission.

Work Details
The work includes comprehensive renovations of existing office spaces, which encompasses selective demolition, framing, drywall installation, interior finishes, and HVAC work. Specific tasks include:

1. Removal and abatement of all fireproofing material, floor tile, ceiling material, piping insulation, and any other materials identified as asbestos-containing. This work must be performed by a licensed and certified abatement contractor following Arkansas Regulation 21 and CFR 1926.1101 guidelines.

2. Duct cleaning post-abatement to ensure all potential asbestos-containing materials are removed from the HVAC duct system.

3. Installation of cubicle furniture as designed by Innerplan Office Interiors.

4. Electrical lighting and power installation.

5. Data and communication wiring.

6. Plumbing and associated piping installation.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over a period defined in the project schedule, with specific timelines for various phases of construction to minimize disruption to ongoing operations within the building.

All work will be conducted at the ARDOT Central Office located at 10324 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific requirements including coordination with ongoing operations in the building during construction hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM), maintaining access to existing facilities, and adhering to noise control measures. Additionally, contractors must ensure that personnel working on-site undergo drug screening as per Owner's requirements.
