The UofA is seeking bids for a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to support its research and development in semiconductors, particularly through the University of Arkansas Power Group (UAPG) and the Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Facility (MUSiC).
The goal of this contract is to enhance capabilities in power electronics, integrated circuits, and sensor prototyping.
Work Details
The contract involves providing a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that includes:
1. Implementation Overview
2. Development, Functionality & Training:
- General & Reporting
- Raw Material, WIP & Process Tracking
- Quality Management
- Equipment Management
- Revision Control
- Remote Training
- Changes or Additions to Scope
- Customizations
3. License, Pricing and Commencement of Work:
- MES Implementation Fee
- MES Subscription Service
- Optional Projects/Add-on Software & Services including a Customer Portal and Education Portal.
4. Payment Terms and Invoicing; Suspension; Acceptance; Cancellation.
5. Data Integrity and Location considerations.
6. Export control and cybersecurity compliance with ITAR and CMMC Level 3 requirements.
7. Service Level Agreement details.
8. Term and Termination clauses.
Period of Performance
The contract term will begin upon award, with an initial period of four years, with an option to renew for three additional years, totaling seven years.
Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the University of Arkansas campus located in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
