Background
Central Arkansas Water (CAW) is a consolidated waterworks entity serving approximately 500,000 consumers in the Little Rock-North Little Rock metropolitan area. CAW plays a crucial role in public health, economic development, and quality of life for Arkansans. The utility is recognized nationally for its service quality and leadership in water management and customer service. CAW seeks qualified law firms to provide general legal counsel services to support its operations.

Work Details
The selected law firm(s) will provide legal counsel services specifically tailored to a governmental water utility. This includes expertise in municipal law, water law, employment law, litigation, bond and public financing, and other relevant legal areas. Respondents must demonstrate their capability to perform these services continuously.

The Chief Executive Officer, General Counsel, and the Board of Commissioners will evaluate qualifications based on the identification of attorneys involved, their qualifications, relevant experience, and potential conflicts of interest.

Period of Performance
The contract will be ongoing as needed based on the legal matters that arise and require attention from the utility.

Place of Performance
Legal services will be performed primarily at Central Arkansas Water's offices located at 425 West Capitol Avenue, 8th Floor, Little Rock, AR 72201.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must submit a Restriction of Boycott of Israel Certification and a Restriction on Energy, Fossil Fuel, Firearms, and Ammunition Industries Boycott Certification as required by Arkansas law. Additionally, firms must disclose any significant financial or influential interests with CAW employees or Commissioners.
