Background
The Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA) has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain proposals from qualified vendors with proven experience in providing janitorial services at three of its Water Reclamation Facilities.
The goal of the contract is to ensure a clean and safe environment at these facilities, which are essential for the agency's mission of managing water reclamation effectively.
Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, training, tools, cleaning agents, equipment, supplies, and any other items necessary to perform janitorial services at the following locations:
1) Fourche Creek Water Reclamation Facility (9500 Birdwood, Little Rock, AR 72206),
2) Adams Field Water Reclamation Facility (1001 Temple Street, Little Rock, AR 72202), and
3) Little Maumelle Water Reclamation Facility (24924 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72223).
The services include but are not limited to: daily cleaning of offices and common areas; restroom sanitation; floor maintenance including mopping and waxing; trash removal; and ensuring that all cleaning methods maximize cleanliness while minimizing waste.
An initial deep cleaning must be completed within the first week of the contract term. The vendor must also adhere to specific cleaning standards outlined in the RFP.
Period of Performance
The initial term of the contract will be one year with the possibility of annual renewals for up to six additional one-year terms, making a total possible contract duration of seven years.
Place of Performance
Services will be performed at three locations in Little Rock, Arkansas: Fourche Creek Water Reclamation Facility, Adams Field Water Reclamation Facility, and Little Maumelle Water Reclamation Facility.
Bidder Requirements
Vendors must have at least five years of experience providing similar janitorial services.
They must also provide Arkansas State Police certified background checks for all employees assigned to work at LRWRA facilities.
Additionally, vendors are required to maintain adequate insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation and General Liability Insurance as specified in the RFP.
