Grass Cutting and Trash Removal

Background
The City of Hot Springs, Arkansas, is issuing an informal bid for grass cutting and trash removal services on behalf of the Planning Department. The goal of this contract is to maintain twelve properties by ensuring they are cleared of unsightly vegetation and debris, thereby enhancing the aesthetic appeal and safety of the community.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for grass cutting and trash removal at twelve designated properties. Specific tasks include:

- Clearing all sites of grass, weeds, unmaintained hedges and bushes, tree limbs, small trees, brush, debris, trash, or other unsightly articles.
- Cutting all sites to a height of 3 inches or less.
- Neatly trimming along streets and sidewalks as well as around structures.
- Maintaining cultivated flower beds or hedges.
- Removing undesirable trees such as Formosa/Mimosa.
- Trimming along fence lines.

Work must commence within five days following issuance of the Proceed Order and be completed within ten days. Liquidated damages will apply for delays beyond the completion date.

Period of Performance
The work is to be initiated within five (5) days following the issuance of the Proceed Order and must be completed within ten (10) days from the start date.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at twelve specified properties in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a Business License from the City of Hot Springs or another city in Arkansas. They are also required to submit a Certificate of Good Standing with the State's Secretary of State. Insurance certificates may be required depending on coverage needs. Bidders must comply with local licensing requirements and may need to obtain a City business license if awarded the contract.
