Demolition of structure located at I-49 - Hwy. 265 (Springdale Bypass) Route 612 Section 2

Background
The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) is issuing a solicitation for the demolition of a structure located at I-49 - Hwy. 265 (Springdale Bypass), Route 612 Section 2 in Benton County. The goal of this contract is to safely and completely remove various structures and debris from the site, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of all structures on the site, including slabs, footings, foundations, walkways, driveways, decks, basements, posts, poles, fences within the proposed right of way, signs, and all debris. Specific tasks include:

- Removal of basements, pools, and storm shelters with backfilling using suitable soil material.
- Pumping and complete removal of septic tanks with backfilling.
- Capping water wells securely as per Arkansas Water Well Construction Commission regulations.
- Clearing all combustible materials and rubbish from the premises while avoiding damage to existing trees and shrubs.
- Disposal of all debris in an ADEQ-approved landfill.
- Handling utilities by calling Arkansas ONE CALL for location services before commencing work. Asbestos-containing materials must be removed prior to demolition as per attached inspection reports.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed within 30 calendar days after issuance of the work order.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of having proper insurance including Worker's Compensation Insurance as per Arkansas laws. A performance bond will be required if the contract amount is $20,000 or more. Bidders must also certify that they do not employ illegal immigrants and submit a Restriction of Boycott Israel Certification form with their bid. A contractor's license is required for bids over $50,000.
