INVITATION TO BID Separate sealed bids for the Candlewood Pump Station Improvements, will be received by the Little Rock Water Reclamation Commission acting by and through the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority (LRWRA), ATTN: Kira Wise, 11 Clearwater Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, until 10:00 a.m. (LOCAL TIME) on July 22, 2025, and then publicly opened and read aloud immediately after specified closing time, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all Work required to construct the Candlewood Pump Station Improvements. Sealed envelopes or packages containing bids shall be marked or endorsed Candlewood Pump Station Improvements, OWNERS Project No. 6230100 and the Contractor's Arkansas License Number shall be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids received later than the specified time and date will be returned to the bidder unopened. Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority will not be held responsible for late, lost, or misdirected bids. The opened bids will then be officially reviewed, evaluated, and recommended for award to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Commission thereafter. The Project provides for the construction of improvements at one (1) existing sewage pump station located in Little Rock, Arkansas. The project consists of selective demolition, dry pit pump installation, piping and valving improvements, structural concrete improvements, electrical and instrumentation improvements, site restoration and grading; and other miscellaneous work thereto. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. (LOCAL TIME) beginning at the Candlewood Pump Station, intersection of Northwest Court and Marina Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72212. All bidders are required to attend. Hard hat and safety vest must be worn by all participants. All bid proposals, as well as the Bid Bond, must be made on the printed document forms included in the specifications. The submitted bid shall not be altered, withdrawn, or resubmitted within 60 calendar days from and after the date of the bid opening. Bid Bond Documents submitted with contract must be on the forms provided in the bid packets. Contractor's Bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum Bid Price, payable without recourse to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract. The Notice of Award of Contract shall be given by the Owner within 60 days following the opening of Bids. The successful Bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond upon the forms provided in the amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Arkansas to act as surety, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner.
