Work Details
The contractor is required to provide weed control services, including herbicide application and weed abatement, as requested by the owner. The preferred herbicide application methods include low-volume backpack foliar or high-volume foliar applications using a pick-up truck or an ATV type operation with a wand or boom sprayer.
Specific requirements include non-selective control of emerged and pre-emerged grasses and broadleaf weeds, use of only approved herbicides and methods, compliance with industry standards for licensing, notification, and documentation, and guaranteeing a minimum of ninety-five percent control of all vegetation.
The contractor is also required to provide a detailed service log for each visit, meet specific bid requirements including state business license, insurance, and experience qualifications, and attend a mandatory site visit.
