Description

Background
The City of Fairhope, located in Baldwin County, Alabama, is seeking qualified contractors to furnish and install two complete NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certified B-2 bulk slurry storage and feed systems for Treatment Plants 2 & 6. This project is part of the Fairhope Public Utilities Project No. 2026-WAT 007, aimed at enhancing the city's water treatment capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide and install two (2) complete NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certified B-2 bulk slurry storage and feed systems. Each system will include a 12,000-gallon storage tank and a pump and control building containing feed pumps, an electrical/control panel, and other functional components.

The tanks must be fabricated from steel as per ASTM A36 standards with specific design requirements including various nozzles for mixing, drainage, overflow, and filling. The installation will require the contractor to ensure that all equipment is operational according to the manufacturer's specifications. Additionally, the contractor will provide startup services and technical training for city operators. The project must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date.
