Solid Waste and Recycling Collection and Disposal

Background
Auburn University is seeking sealed bids for solid waste and recycling collection and disposal services on its main campus. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient waste management and recycling practices that align with the university's sustainability initiatives.

Work Details
The contractor will provide solid waste and recycling collection services, including but not limited to:
- Rental, hauling, and landfill charges for various dumpster sizes (4 CY, 6 CY, 8 CY) with different pickup frequencies (on call, monthly, weekly, bi-weekly).
- Cardboard recycling services with no disposal charges; all rebates from cardboard sales will go to Auburn University.
- Temporary front-end load dumpster services covering delivery, rental, and landfill disposal charges.
- Self-contained compactors with monthly rental rates and per haul costs.
- Solid waste roll-offs including delivery, rental, hauling, and disposal costs. Recycling roll-offs will have no disposal costs with rebates going to the university.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to last for a duration specified in the proposal documents. Proposals must be submitted by August 14, 2024.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed on the Auburn University Main Campus located in Auburn, Alabama.
