Background
The State of Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a renewal for the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) maintenance and support.
The goal of this contract is to ensure continued access and functionality for 70,000 active users, providing necessary support and maintenance services for the open-source Moodle platform.

Work Details
The contract includes the following services and specifications:
- Renewal Maintenance/Support for Moodle LMS, covering 70,000 active users from April 14, 2025, to April 13, 2026.
- Hosting by a registered vendor for the State of Alabama.
- Inclusion of migration costs from the current vendor if a different vendor is selected.
- Comprehensive support and maintenance services including security upgrades and updates to customizations as needed.
- The site currently hosts 2 active courses with text, small video files, and quizzes, alongside 17 retired courses available for review.
- The total data size on the site is approximately 150 GB with no scheduled simultaneous user activities at this time.
- The site utilizes third-party plugins and has an active maintenance script for monitoring training module completion.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from April 14, 2025, to April 13, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Alabama as part of the State's existing infrastructure.
