Reimbursement for lodging, meals (excluding alcohol) at the CONUS rate, air and ground transportation to include rental cars, taxis, rail, buses, motorcoaches, subways, ferries, etc. necessary to attend assignment.Assignments will be charged at a two-hour minimum.Interpreters are required to wait 20 minutes after scheduled arrival time. If personnel are no show , agency will be billed at two-hourminimum to include mileage costs per interpreter (if applicable).Requests for interpreters will be made a minimum of 5 business days in advance except in the case of an emergency.Requests for interpreters will be made via phone or email. Information will be provided noting the date, time, location, contact person, nature ofappointment, deaf participant's name, and any special instructions (such as parking code, special attire, personal identification, etc.).Cancellations will be made to supplier 48 hours prior to assignment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours of assignment will be subject to billing. NOTE: Supplier must reside within the State of Alabama.Valid period of service: 10/1/24 thru 9/30/25.

The goal of this contract is to ensure effective communication for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals during various appointments and events.
Work Details
The supplier will provide the following interpreting services:
1. Interpreting Services, Standard Rate (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mon-Fri)
2. Interpreting Services, Non-Standard Rate (before or after 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., nights, weekends, holidays)
3. Interpreting Services, Emergency Rate (less than 24 hours prior to appointment)
4. Mileage reimbursement (per mile, roundtrip)
5. Video Interpreting Live and Recorded Materials, including video formatting and upload fee if needed
6. Virtual Interpreting via Zoom/Google Meet (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mon-Fri)
7. Virtual Interpreting via Zoom/Google Meet (before or after 8-5, nights, weekends, holidays)
8. Travel Expenses reimbursement for lodging and meals (excluding alcohol) at the CONUS rate, air and ground transportation including rental cars, taxis, rail, buses, motorcoaches, subways, ferries necessary for assignments.

Requests for interpreters must be made at least five business days in advance except in emergencies.
Period of Performance
The valid period of service is from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025.
