FY25 Garbage Services Store #232

Background
The Alabama ABC Board is seeking garbage services for Store #232 for the fiscal year 2025. The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient waste management and disposal services at the specified location, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain cleanliness and compliance with state regulations.

Work Details
The vendor will provide a 1-4 yard locking container that will be emptied once a week, with additional pickups as needed. The service includes removing all waste from each container and ensuring that the area around the container is left free of trash and debris after emptying. Containers must be in good mechanical condition, equipped with locks to prevent unauthorized access, and comply with ADEM Containment requirements.

The supplier is responsible for maintaining containers and replacing any that become rusted during the contract period at no additional cost to the state. All vehicles and containers must meet acceptable appearance standards and be steam cleaned as necessary to prevent odors. Invoices will be billed monthly in arrears, and all costs must be included in the unit price.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on June 1, 2025, and conclude on September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Store #232 located in Alabama.

Bidder Requirements
Suppliers must be registered in Alabama Buys and submit copies of all applicable permits and licenses before award. They are required to provide documentation regarding landfill usage for waste disposal. Additionally, suppliers must comply with federal immigration laws and verify enrollment in the E-Verify program prior to award. Suppliers must also certify compliance with Alabama sales tax laws.
