Evaluation of the Alabama Numeracy Act RFP

Background
The Alabama Department of Workforce is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to evaluate the Alabama Numeracy Act as mandated by Act 2022-249. The goal of this contract is to assess the implementation and effectiveness of the Alabama Numeracy Act, which aims to improve numeracy skills among students in the state.

Work Details
The contractor will provide consulting services related to the evaluation of the Alabama Numeracy Act. This includes but is not limited to: conducting assessments, analyzing data, providing recommendations based on findings, and preparing reports detailing the evaluation results.

Place of Performance
All services will be performed in Montgomery, Alabama, with potential travel required within the state for data collection and stakeholder engagement.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with specific certifications including being registered for sales tax collection in Alabama, adhering to E-Verify requirements for employment verification, and providing a Disclosure Statement as required by Code Section 41-16-82.

Additionally, bidders must not be debarred or suspended from participating in government contracts.
