Document Conversion and Scanning Services

Background
The Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board is seeking to establish a contract for document conversion and scanning services. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of document management within the agency, ensuring that all records are digitized and easily accessible.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Pick Up and Drop Off Document Services - pricing per trip;
2. Document Preparation, Scanning, and Indexing - pricing per image;
3. Additional Document Requests - pricing per request;
4. Shredding Services - pricing per box.
All services must comply with the specifications attached to the solicitation.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence after the award date and will continue for a duration specified in the final agreement, with an anticipated start date following the mandatory site visit on January 13, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at the contractor's facility or as specified by the Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board. Initial site visits will take place at 216 Aquarius Drive, Homewood, AL 35209.

Bidder Requirements
Suppliers wishing to respond must attend a mandatory site visit on January 13, 2026. Only those who attend this visit are eligible to participate in the solicitation process.
